2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours clear bronze with a fast head. Adversities settle to ice-creamy wheats and dusty, lagery malts. Flavor is lightly nutty, a little sweet. Light-to-mid-bodied (a little watery) finishing dry. Acceptable, but barely.

2.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: JAN 17, 2007 Aroma is simply aweful, smells like rotten hops but the taste is very good. Taste is sweet, woody and slighty carmely. Has an aftertaste of hops that is very light and refreshing.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Another contract beer for Joes, and again a pretty decent one. Warning: not all are good (see Fat Weasel Pale Ale for a major disaster), This poured an attractive amber wth a light tan head and mild lacing. Nose of malts and caramel, with some chocolate. Mouthfeel lively. Finish nicely bitter. Not outstanding, buat a decent brew.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours amber w/ a shallow, semi creamy froth that quickly recedes to very thin brewers lace. Aromas of grainy malts. Medium nectar w/ ample residual effers. Malt driven w/ a crispy character. Flavors of caramel, and assorted dried fruits. The finish is bittered and crisp w/ an unappealing grainy residual. Uninteresting.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear, transparent, cranberry color. LIttle to no head. Aroma of caramel malt. The syrupy mouthfeel destroyed this beer’s appeal for me. Taste is a clean, sweet, caramel malt. Didn’t notice any significant hops. Nontheless, I could see myself buying this again because of the $4.99 per six pack price.
