bhensonb (8991) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 8, 2007
Very light aroma of caramel or bread or both. Decent amber color with an off-white head that pretty much just filmed. Medium bodied. Not too fizzy. Sort of biscuit malt, and not all that much hop. Not much point in it, unless you like sweet without bitter.

Amber coloured beer with a thin white head. Aroma is fairly malty. Sweet and a little bit toasty. Clean and fairly industrial. Softly toasty flavour with a crisp maltiness and a touch of sweetness. Clean but fairly uninteresting.

Pours a transparent copper amber with a thin coating of wispy white head. Sweet authentic toasty Vienna malty aroma has some German lager yeast character. Starts with a mild light caramel sweetness along with some slightly earthy noble hops and a drier crisp finish. Fairly true to style, but rather boring.

Amber pour with a dense white head. Bread and toasted malt nose with some biscuit notes. Floral hops, yeast, and a light fruit character. Toasted malt, bread, and biscuit malt flavors. Some spicy and floral hops, yeast, and lightly fruity. A touch bitter and metallic on the finish.

Thanks to shp555 for this as part of Mystery Swap 2.0. Pours clear medium copper with aroma of caramel malt, some hopcitrus, and some brown sugary toffee. Tastes caramel malty, with mid-palate hops, and some finishing toffee.

Ughsmash (6669) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 6, 2006
Bottled. Poured clear reddish-orange with a fluffy beige head about as tall as the liquid. Nose was quite yeasty with biscuit and caramel maltage as well... clean and kinda boring, but not bad. Flavor was of smooth pulled caramel, biscuits, and pils malts with herbal bitterness and faint citrus at the back-end. Smooth, lighter-bodied middle with a moderately tart and bitter finish. This was not at all complex, but was most definitely drinkable.
