(12 ounce bottle - pint glass) Pours a copper amber color with little head. Has no head retention and little lacing. Aroma is a caramel toffee malt. Tastes of bread malt and is a little hoppy also has notes of toffee. Light to medium body and above average carbonation.

Decent beer for the price. Medium clear amber color. Small off white head. A decent balance of mold hops and malts. The malts over power the hops.

I wasn’t expecting a whole lot but I was very pleasantly surprised--this is a startlingly good beer for the money. From a 12-oz. bottle, this pours a crystal clear orangey-amber with minimal head. No lacing. Decent grainy malt presence in the aroma. Initial taste is nutty caramel with a hint of vanilla, followed quickly by a nice finish of hops. Surprisingly well-balanced and the finish is very clean.

12 oz. Smells a little bit like vanilla coke (vanilla, carmel, cola), which I wasn’t exactly expecting. Mouthfeel is moderately chewy and finishes with a nicely crisp note. All in all, one of the more compelling offerings in the TJ’s own brand arsenal.

Sweet Malty aroma. One rater said it smells like corn. I can see why that person would say that. Nice dark golden color, a thin head that disappears. At first, it was overly carbonated, but they quickly went away. Sweet malt flavor, with a moderate bitter finish. Also, small alcohol overtones in the finish.

I like this beer a lot. It is a nice, malty, and crisp vienna. Not as complex as most beers, but very refreshing and drinkable. The flavor is malty to start with, followed by a little burst of hops in the aftertaste, which create a dry and refreshing mouthfeel. I think this would be a good beer to go with any meal centered around a spicy non-cream based sauce.

Slightly more flavor in it than a bud, but thats not saying much. The only good thing about it was... oh wait, nothing. It was cheap and my wife is a penny pincher even though i constantly explain that if its cheap it probably sucks, this proves my point.

UPDATED: JAN 17, 2007 Aroma is simply aweful, smells like rotten hops but the taste is very good. Taste is sweet, woody and slighty carmely. Has an aftertaste of hops that is very light and refreshing.
