MoreHead (355), Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA Oct 18, 2006 poured a clear light copper with visible carbonation and average head. horse blanket aroma with a fairly simple but balanced malt and hops flavor. another decent discount tj beer.
phishpond417 (1360), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jul 21, 2008 This one pours a clear bright amber colour with a medium sized white head. Aroma is very malty accented by strong hop aromas. Plenty of carbonation in this one, but taste is unfortnately dissapointing. Flavor is a little stale with hops initially, but finish is watery. EithCubes (1797), Indiana, USA Jul 8, 2008 Bottle. Crispy caramel nose with nice earthy hops and light nuttiness. Deep amber pour with a soapy, yellow-tinged off-white head. Malty, slightly syrupy taste, caramel with herbal hops. Toffee with a touch of toast. Very, very crisp taste on a medium body. Not bad! Bier brauen (138), Bremerton, Washington, USA Jun 5, 2008 Sweet Malty aroma. One rater said it smells like corn. I can see why that person would say that. Nice dark golden color, a thin head that disappears. At first, it was overly carbonated, but they quickly went away. Sweet malt flavor, with a moderate bitter finish. Also, small alcohol overtones in the finish. cazort (340), San Diego, California, USA May 29, 2008 (Bottle) Actually, pretty dark. Not much head. Thin and cold tasting for this style, but otherwise, similar to what I would expect. Pretty balanced...some hops, some bitterness. Very refreshing, and yet not totally too thin. I actually really like this one. TURDFERGUSON (1115), Carrboro, North Carolina, USA May 16, 2008 Drank from the bottle while playing some disc golf today. Nose is sweet caramel corn, spicey hops, and a nice malt base. Flavor is sweet, and slightly bitter. Pretty good beer.
