Dark coppery color with a nice malty nose. Nice mouthfeel, with a darker malty taste. Pretty good.

Aroma of rich caramelly malt with just a hint of earthy hops. A copper pour with very light white head and lace. Sweet malty flavor a hint of abv and a very subtle bitter. A bit overly carbonated for me. But pretty nice.

Pours orangish amber with an off white head. Smell is sweet and malty. Taste is caramel malt with a nice smooth finish. I like this beer, like other trader joes brews it is very underrated.

Pours a clear red amber with a one finger head and little retention or lacing. Aroma is all malts, mostly sweet and no hops. Taste is mostly mildly sweet malts, not too sweet but a nice balance for drinking with food. Mouthfeel is pretty good although it’s a little clingy. Very drinkable and could be sessioned. Excellent beer for less than $1.

12oz bottle from Trader Joe’s. Pours a crystal clear, amber-orange colored body with a finger-width, foamy, off-white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a nice lacing throughout. Aroma is malty sweet with some caramels and toasty bread. A touch of clean yeast with a light floral fruit and earthy hop. Flavor is pretty solid. Caramel with a light sweetness, toasty bread, floral fruits, a light grain, and a nice grassy hopping that dries this with a light bitterness and a touch of malty sweetness. Medium length aftertaste following a very smooth, light-medium, clean body and moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty nice Vienna. Solid flavor, very easy drinking, and well balanced. A nice surprise.

Pretty copper color. Exactly the color I want to see in a vienna. The nice head, but it vanishes quickly. Big malty aroma and flavor, but not the best finish in the world. A bit too sweet. For the price $6.00 for a six pack, you can’t possibly go wrong. I wouldn’t be mad at anyone who brought some of this by to a party...

(12 oz bottle: Trader Joe’s in Pacific Beach, CA) Hey, whadya know, another decent Trader Joe’s beer! Malty, caramely, and moderately sweet, both in the flavor and nose, with a bit of vanilla adding to the flavor, and minimal bitterness getting in the way. Smooth and creamy on the palate, medium bodied, easy to drink, no rough edges. The clear body is a rich amber color, and it’s topped by a light-tan head initially, though that head does fade to a small ring too quickly. In the end, it’s a pretty one-dimensional beer, but it gets the job done, and the price is most definitely right! Good session beer for my tastes.

Has a light malty aroma with a light head which lasts to the end. Nice copper color. The flavor is slightly sweet without an overpowering lager taste. Not alot of hop flavor. Easy to drink, but a slight after taste.

Started off promising enough with a nice colour and a very nice nose. First few sips were malty goodness, but as it warmed, a strange hopiness crept in.

I wasn’t expecting a whole lot but I was very pleasantly surprised--this is a startlingly good beer for the money. From a 12-oz. bottle, this pours a crystal clear orangey-amber with minimal head. No lacing. Decent grainy malt presence in the aroma. Initial taste is nutty caramel with a hint of vanilla, followed quickly by a nice finish of hops. Surprisingly well-balanced and the finish is very clean.
