Clear, dark amber with a bit of white head. Aroma of caramel malt, but a little bitter. Flavor is okay, but too bitter and astringent a finish.

Light bronze, with a nice sized sturdy white head. Smells like sweet molasses and toast. Flavor is nicely sweet, with more molasses, some more toast, and some subtle smokey notes. Not bad...

Pours clear amber - nose of caramelized sugars, toffee, light spiciness and a mild bitterness - low carbonation, fairly soft texture - flavor is fairly clean caramelized sugars, light toasty maltiness, moderate bitterness, the slightest hint of mineral - finish is medium dry malt - not terrible interesting but clean and enjoyable enough.

Caramelized malty aroma and flavor. Nice hop balance. Pretty full flavored. Malt dominant, but a nice beer overall. But if the lagerish funk but not too much. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
