Aroma is sweet, cola,, prunes, etc. Had a huge head, very Unibroueish. Flavor was pretty decent, cola, dried fruits, hints of chocolate. Pretty decent beer.

Quickly fading beige head initially mounts up the dark cola body. Active carbonation keeps trying to give some vigor back to the head without success. Typically Unibrouesque liquorice and cakey, slightly vinous chocolate and floral flavours. Not as fruity as expected, even surprisingly hinting slightly at plastic, but it catches back on the tongue. There, dates, anise and growing fruitiness accompany the usual chocolate flavours which come out in a powdery fashion. Caramel shines by its absence, the results being a rather dry product, with moderately high carbonation that doesn’t bite and a airy medium body. Good stuff.

Bottle shared by a non-ratebeer friend. Aroma of caramel, brown bread, alcohol, vinous-like dried fruit, apple and brown sugar. Dark, dark brown in color with a light brown head. Complex flavors of caramel, bubble gum, banana and chocolate in the finish. Lighter body, crisp with a touch of alcohol. Very nice.

22 oz bottle, shared with hezron and malachi
Aroma / Apppearance - Reminds of chocolate dipped strawberries, honey smoked ham and cherries with a trace of malt. The ephemeral head leaves behind a slate black body with some sticky lacing.
Flavor / Palate - The initial impression immediately gives away that this is a Unibroue brewed beer. Along with the peppery flavor are chocolate and vanilla tones. Strawberries, cocoa power and coriander follow in later sips. The finish is sweet and dry with a bubble gum taste.

Dark browish black appearance with a large head. The aroma is raisins, chocolate, rum, and gingerbread. The flavor is rather sweet with a heavy alcohol presence. I taste figs, caramel, chocoalte and ginger. The beer has a doughy presence with a warming effect. Good stuff.
