Tmoney99 (3618), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA May 9, 2008 Bottle from Cincy store. Poured clear pale color with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Moderate sweet grassy aroma. Light to medium body with a thin texture and soft carbonation. Light sweet flavor with soft grassy sweet finish of short duration. Worth trying once. bhensonb (3005), Woodland, California, USA Jul 6, 2007 Bottle as Trader Jose Premium Lager. NIce grassy hop aroma. Pale golden color; a very little white head that filmed. Medium mouthfeel; a bit fizzy. Light malt sweetness, and it seems to be from barley. Balanced by nice grassy bitterness. It is really good for a somewhat pale lager. It’s got a start on pilsenerhood. Long trip though. IrishBoy (2158), Bakersfield, California, USA Dec 25, 2007 12 oz bottle from Trader Joes; nose is grainy and grassy; clear gold with a big white head; flavor semi-sweet grain, kind of tastes like Coors (I wonder why?) SDbruboy (1822), San Diego, California, USA Jan 1, 2008 12 oz. bottle from Trader Joe’s Pacific Beach. Clear golden with a foamy white head. Typical lager grainy malty aroma, light floral hops, but dominated by malts. Sweet corn and malts, hints of bitterness from grassy hops, drinkable but nothing special at all. Light to medium body, slightly oily with light carbonation. EithCubes (1821), Indiana, USA Jul 6, 2008 Clear-glassed bottle. Grassy corn syrup for a nose, but there is a trace of hops! Clear yellow pour with a creamy bright white head. Taste is sweet and very corny, pale malt is of poor quality. Grassiness pushed way toward the back, but at least there’s some crispness. Light, non-watery body.
