flatmatt (1025) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - MAY 14, 2010
12 oz bottle. Pours clear red brown with a white head. Aroma is sweet caramel, toffee, and molasses. Flavor has the caramel and molasses, some nuts and toasty malt. Flavor is good at first, but it starts to fall apart about half way through as hints of alcohol and off flavors start to appear. Too bad, it was actually pretty nice for a while.

Mora2000 (5346) - McKinney, Texas, USA - MAR 5, 2010
Thanks to Fratto for sharing this beer. The beer pours a clear brown color with a white head. The aroma is malty with a lot of biscuit and bready malts with some wheat. The flavor is more of the same, with a lot of lighter malts. No real hop presence. High carbonation and low-medium mouthfeel. Pretty basic lager here, nothing special, but not terrible.

Bottles thanks to fratto. Pours light brown with a tan minimalist head. Aroma of caramel and apple. Flavors are off with cardboard and apple. Not good. Fizzy.

Cavie (3671) - Fort Worth, Texas, USA - MAR 3, 2010
Bottle from Fratto’s gramps. Clear reddish color. Bready aroma with lots of grain. Sharp malts with a bit of sweet tones. Taste is wheaty malt with dry fading cardboard notes. Easy finish with a small bitterness lingering. Decent, but not great.

BarZigKin (511) - San Antonio, Texas, USA - FEB 27, 2010
12oz bottle courtesy of fratto. Pours a clear amber body under an extrordinarily rapidly receding head. Left some lacing though(?). Smells like alcohol, corn and skunk. Flavor is nutty and sweet with a clean finish. Very thin body. Not horrible, but not a re-buy.

Fratto (2524) - Arlington, Texas, USA - FEB 27, 2010
Six pack from the family. Brown pour with just enough bubbles to see that it was indeed carbonated. Nasty aroma. Must, bad grain, and roasted nuts. The taste isn’t as offensive. Roasted and earthy, with maybe even a little dy chocolate coming through the funk. Thin and watery.
