Bottle. Again, exactly what you’d expect. Super, super light, with barely any color. Barely any ANYthing to this. Thin, watery, barely a kiss of beer flavor to it. Why bother? (#5308, 11/3/2013)

1.3 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
it’s hard to rate this because I don’t know how it really tastes. It was so skunked up! When the hell are brewers going to knock it off with the freaking clear bottles? This is no better or worse than a skunked bottle of Corona light, which isn’t saying much.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Tallahassee, Fl - Trader Joe’s - 11.2 oz bottle. Slightly cloudy light golden pour, little to no head. Aroma of club soda and slight corn syrup. Flavor has a very light honey sweetness to it, a touch of metal, some grainy blandness. Mouthfeel is a slightly dry and metallic. Would hit the spot ice cold on a hot beach though.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Clear, twistoff, 12 oz looooongneck bottle. Utilitarian label and cap. Clear, very pale beer with a frothy white head. Aroma is something along the lines of what you’d expect if a skunk fell into a pool of Cheerios. Very light malt sweetness, very low bittering, not really very entertaining. Light body, on the verge of being crisp but not quite. Light hopping kicks in at the very end. Not terrible, I’d take a free one, just not good. Trader Joe’s Tallahassee.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
12oz bottle from my local Trader Joe’s, for $1. Best before 6/4/14. Clear golden yellow color. Little white head. No lace. Very mild, but clean flavor. Corn, some bread. Light hop. Light body. Soft, smooth, not too strong carbonation. Light bitter, moderate sweet. Really, not too bad. A lot better than expected. Beats Corona.

Bottle. Most distinguishing characteristic of this beer is its high level of carbonation. Standard lager flavor.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Hmmm. It poured a clear yellow color with a white head. The aroma was of pale cereal, malt, straw and hay. The taste was similar, watered down, like a pale lager. There was lots of straw with a hint of grassy hops.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottled. Poured clear, bright golden with a short, well-retained white head. The aroma picked up toasted grains and a little corn accented by light fruit skins and lemon zest.. non-offensive, but not a lot going on. The flavor found the same grains and some pale malt at the core, with prickly, lively carbonation and lime zest around.. finished with light tacky malts and overly assertive carbonation. Very light-bodied and sharp from the carbonation on the palate.. not as easy-drinkin’ or refreshing as it should’ve been.
