Frank (1064), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jan 18, 2005 Nice golden color with decent lace and a lasting ring of head. That’s where the niceness ends. Seriously. Tthis beer blows. Sickly sweet, syrupy, sluggish palate. Drain pour. heemer77 (4294), Savannah, Missouri, USA Jan 18, 2005 A farily dark golden color. A decent amount of carbonation. A trace of a thin white head Aroma is a malty hint of grass and some carrots. Taste has metallic notes and celery. Not much else going on here. I can see why I got the individual bottle for $1. JoeM500 (1876), Chicago (little italy), Illinois, USA Sep 27, 2004 Clear yellow, fizzy head dissipates quickly. Adjuncty nose, harsh adjuncty taste only lasts a second or two and then...nothing... nothing? not even a hint of anything beer-like. Wow water. iwantalambic (1385), St. Louis, Missouri, USA Jun 6, 2004 Draught at Trader Todds on Sheffield: crystal clear with a hint of yellow. . .no aroma to speak of, perhaps some corn or rice adjuncts, but that is it. Almost indistinguishable from a tall glass of water, this one is easy to drink and flavourless. There was a strong sour after-taster however. I wouldn’t seek this one out if I were you. . . GodsStar (3), Chicago, Illinois, USA does not count Feb 11, 2004 This is an incredible beer. I’d been urged by a vender to give it a try and staff on hand agreed. I bought it at their urgency and, quite honestly, out of blind “loyalty” to a character that amused me so much during college. This brew is absolutely delicious. It has a very light banana flavor that doesn’t overpower you like a tropical drink would AT ALL! I bought a six-pack to a friend’s, went to work and discovered 2 missing when I got back later. He said it was great and he was right. Todd’s has just gained a customer. JMerritt (1313), Macomb, Illinois, USA Dec 23, 2003 Very light yellow in color with typical "light-beer" head that drops almost immediately. Skunked aroma. Flavor is light, corny, and a tad skunked. Not quite as watery on the palate as most light beers, but still very uninteresting.
