3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask @ JDW Elgin
Straw coloured, clear, thin whote head, some lacing
Aroma of soft citrus, some creamy light pale malts
Taste of soft fruity pale malt, apricot, soft citrus fruit, bit creamy light pale malt, little dull
Palate - Thinnish body, some oiliness though so the body is ok for the abv, soft light sweet fruity palate. Finish as main flavour, pale bit oily malt with some apricot.
Overall - This is a step in the right direction - it’s only bit above average, not ’amazing’ . Surprised not to have another poor beer from this brewery

UPDATED: JUN 20, 2012 Cask @ The Counting House (JDW). Golden yellow colour, good head. Citrus fruit aroma. Flowery fruity flavour. Very light & refreshing. At long last a really good beer from TSA.
