I love so many of the great beers coming out of Scotland. So many great wee breweries. However this is absolute dishwater. It is flat and tasteless. awful. stay away

Cask by handpump at Hengler’s Circus, Glasgow - clear golden yellow, thin rapidly disappearing white head, minimal malty aroma, no lacing, sweet malty flavour, not balanced
1.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20 mighty_meadow (104) - Kilwinning, SCOTLAND - APR 14, 2013
Pours cloudy amber. Quite unpleasant musty smell. Sort of cereal taste and not much more. Not enjoying this at all.
0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20 beelsebob (29) - Cupertino, California, USA - APR 10, 2013
Terrible beer. Smells faintly of sick. It at least is a fairly nice golden colour, and pours a decent head with a little lacing. It tastes terrible, slightly of chickory, and gone off vegetables. The mouth feel is oily. Not one to be recommended at all.
2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 Graham77 (116) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - MAR 10, 2013
Basically a lager in appearance and taste and a good quality one at that. Lomond Gold has a viscosity about it that many lagers don’t and is a very drinkable beer. However it is nothing particularly special.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 IrishBoy (3641) - Bakersfield, California, USA - DEC 9, 2012
330ml bottle from my friend in Aberdeen, Nose is corn flakes, grassy hay, and a sweet fruity note. Slightly hazed yellow with a small pale yellow head. Flavor is slightly sweet, a hint of bitter and a creamed corn note.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 reebtogi (3383) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 26, 2012
500ml bottle pours a pale golden color with a small white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is mild but pleasant with grass and citrus and some light fruits. Taste is a light fruity and malty sweetness with a mild citrusy hop bitterness. Light bodied with decent carbonation. Nicely balanced ale that is refreshing and easy to drink.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 rauchbier (3409) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - AUG 21, 2012
Bottle. Gold, thin but lasting white head and low condition. Gentle chalky biteer hops and slightly peppery fruitiness in the nose, very soft in the mouth with a low bitterness and a slight melon note, briefly sweet finish before a return of the hoppy bitterness.
