Full and rounded like an Indian new moon, this new breed is a modern twist on Indian Pale Ale. Jammed with fruity flavour and tantalising bitterness.

Bottle from Mouton Rouge Canterbury and drunk at home. Clear amber lasting off white head. Tastes a bit pasteurised, bit tired. Has some hops, but it’s all a bit empty. Not great.

Bottle from a Glasgow ASDA. Golden with a thin off-white head. Lots of washing up liquid citrus in both aroma and flavour. Quite light and refreshing. I didn’t dislike it as much as some seem to have. OK.

The opposite of Ronseal. Doesn't do what it says on the bottle. Disappointed. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle 0.5l. Clear light copper with no head. Very light aroma, floral, sweetish, a bit grassy, some fruitiness. Very light hoppy bitterness, malty, soapy, floral. Light carbonation. Light body, watery. Not really an IPA.

Clear pale copper with a foamy white head. Seems at first glance too carbonated for the style. Aroma herbal with a veggie note. Taste mild, herbal, light mouthfeel, slight veggie note. Not bad.

TheJestersBeer (2132) - SWEDEN - SEP 23, 2014
500ml bottle. Medium straw, white head. Fairly hoppy, spice aroma, orange peel, resin, malt, caramel. Dry, medium body and bitterness, balanced CO2. Hoppy, malty, slightly earthy/phenolic taste, grapefruit, caramel. Lacks a bit of the IPA “oomph”, and finishes rather abruptly on an astringent note. (2014-07-25)

500ml bottle. Pours clear and orange with a foamy head that quickly disappeared. Looks watery, but feels less so. Taste is ok but nothing exciting

50cl bottle thanks to Andrew. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Nose - initial wiff of butterscotch but then grass and citrus notes with some honey behind. Taste - biscuit and citrus malt and bitter herbs. Palate - light to medium bodied with a dry malty texture and a long bitter finish. Overall - a decent pale ale.
