2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle BBE: Apr 16. Well-chilled. Pours a clear, bright amber body with a small off-white head. Smells malty with biscuit aromas, some marmalade and piney hop character. Low to medium intensity on the nose. Light sweetness and a medium to high bitterness. Light bodied with a resinous texture. Medium carbonation for style. Overall a very bland bitter.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Classic british style bitter with some hops, grass and easy drinkabilty. Smooth on the tongue, quaffy and refreshing. Not rocket science but its freshness hits the points well.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Quite a nice bottle, a bit of the floral IPA aroma that isn’t that common in British IPAs.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of metal, tinned peach and grain. Flavour of watery grain, cigarette butts and a sour finish - horrible. Thin body with a watery texture. Fizzy carbonation. I never trust a sub 5.0% beer advertised as an IPA.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from a Glasgow ASDA. Golden with a thin off-white head. Lots of washing up liquid citrus in both aroma and flavour. Quite light and refreshing. I didn’t dislike it as much as some seem to have. OK.
