The taste is light white grape, more honey and sweet grains. Light fruits, slightly grassy finish. Overall, not too bad.

Cask @ Willow Walk, JDW, Victoria SW1. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty weak hoppy aroma. Fruity malty hoppy caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty weak hoppy caramel finish.

Nutty aroma which is full of toffee in its flavour. Sweet and very pleasant.

Cask, William Wygston, Wigston. Amber with a white foam. Aromas are caramel, biscuit and grain with damp, floral notes. Black tea with soft raisins and lemon. Flavours are dry biscuit with weetabix and weak, black tea. Hints of berries with autumn leafiness. Gently hopped on the finish. A bit average.

Cask at JDW. A mostly clear amber shade with some white head. Caramel malt flavours dominate but there’s a few hints of spices like nutmeg and clove that make for a semi-interesting journey. Nothing remarkable but it has a nice traditional, autumnal character that I liked.

From cask at The Edward Wylie. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is toastedmalty, breadish and light toffee. Bitter, toasted malty and light caramelish. Dry, bitter and light fruity into a toasted malty finish.

Clear golden with a thinnish off white head which retains well.
Malt forward nose, peat, wood, touch of smoke.
Taste follows, malty, toffee, fruits and peat.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, smooth on the palate.

Cask conditioned at the Ralph Fitz Randal (JDW), York. Hazy gold body. Nose of minerals, spice and burnt wood. Bittersweet with a bitter finish.

Cask at JDWs real-ale festival, Knights Templar. Shared with Finn. Clear copper coloured body. Bubbles on the surface. Hints of bread and resin to the nose. Wheat-like fruity hops in flavour. Smooth bitter ending. Ok (London, 01.11.2012).
