2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
500 ml bottle. Beautiful reddish body with a foamy white head. Aroma is malt with a hint of butterscotch. Flavor is malty, light bitter and a hint of butterscotch. Could have been a lot better without the butterscotch.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Lidl. Dark Amber with a white head. This is very much like lots of other bottled bitters: acceptable without being very exciting. Aroma is caramel malt, and the taste is similar: sweet with some sourness and a little peppery bitterness and fizz.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20
50cl bottle from Lidl. Mid brown in colour with a fast fading off-white head; aroma has caramel, malt and some musty hops; thin and watery with a caramel and malt flavour; and lacking any real finish. Boring.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml bottle pours amber in color with a 2 finger white head that leaves some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel and grass with some earthy notes. Taste is earthy hop bitterness with some underlying malty sweetness. Light to medium bodied with some soft carbonation. Overall, finishes cleaner than the other offering from this brewery that I have tried and is quite pleasant.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
330ml bottle a present from my Aberdeen friend. Nose is sweet caramel, nutty almonds, and a hint of bubblegum. Copper brown with a medium beige head. Flavor is lightly bitter, nutty, and a hint of sweet caramel malt. If I lived in Scotland and this was available it would probably be a favorite session beer.
