bottle from Aldi came to us to support Burns night , light ground hoppy aroma, brown, clear, white foam, medium bitterness, light sweetness, and peaty finish just like Stotch Whisky...just a bit but intense and nicemedium body, slick feel, long finish, good drinkable beer as always from TSA

Bottle from Glasgow ASDA. Chestnut ale with a frothy cream head. A malty beer with a little chocolate with hints of citrus and spice. Thin, but OK.

Bottle. Pours light brown, with a tan head that disappates quickly. Medium bodied, medium to high carbonation, very fine bubbles. Aroma is strong of toffee, fruit & bread. Taste is sweet, of caramel and fruits. Palate is pleasant, not dry or bitter, though a bit high in carbonation. Finish is malty sweet, chewy, then slightly drys. A bit high in carbonation, but a very nice drink.

Bottle from Aldi, Manchester. Deep hazy amber with a thin head. Has a tasty smooth sweet grainy malt character with lots of very good fruit flavours to compliment this. .

Orange with a thin off-white head. Quite malty aroma, toffee, raisin. Taste is too sweet, not that well balanced. Thin texture, light carbonation. Not that great, to be honest.

Bottle: Copper coloured, a bit unclear, almost no head, fruity-bready nose with a tinge of vegetables, but a hoppy background; mild to moderate bitter-sweet finish, light bodied to watery and harsh; thin bitter-sweet finish. Below average…

500ml bottle at home. Pours medium brown with a thin, short-lived head. Aromas of raisin, toffee and caramel with malt. Touch of hops comes through later. Taste is too sweet, not enough balance. Bit sticky on the texture. Long, sweet finish. OK.

courtesy of fiulijn - clear amber beer with a modest foam left; caramelish malty tones; thin-bodied, low bitterness and pretty dry; hints of flowers and caramel in the finish - deeply modest and insignificant

tombyars (1411) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - MAY 23, 2013
Tasted this in the Salt Cot, Saltcoats (JDW) in May 2013. Cask, handpump dispense. Crystal clear copper with a thin off white head. Distinct malty aroma with sweet toffee overtones. Thin but creamy mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malt gives a robust maltloaf base with notes of creamy highland toffee and stewed prunes. Good smack of earthy flavoured hops in the short bitter aftertaste. Finish is chewy and malty with dry vinous oak cask notes but not too dry though. A decent session 80/ and recommended.
