Oct 19, 2002 orangy colour, little head. toffee-ish malt aroma. fizzy. nice balance of malt and hops. citrusy hops come in more as the beer warms. nice.

Sep 4, 2005 Draught at BeerBistro - 2005 Golden Tap Awards. Dark ruby-brown with a small white head. Aroma of sweet & sour fruit, grain, some toffee. Soft mouthfeel, quite creamy. Unassuming but pleasant flavour - notes of mellow cocoa, caramel, some mild herbal hops. Could use a bit more "oomph", but generally not too bad.

Oct 12, 2002 Sweet hoppy aroma, copper, with a light creamy head. Hoppy, malty and orange flavour. Nice aftertaste of orange and hops, creamy. A nice Pale Ale.

Aug 22, 2005 Sampled at Beer Bistro Golden Tap Awards. Dark brown appearance. Sweet aroma and taste. Watery. Slightly bitter. Decent, better than expected, one of my higher rated Trafalgar beers for sure.

Mar 4, 2005 Green, vegetable hop aroma with sweet malt behind. You might like it. In flavour similar to Double Bock with more spicy feel and hops. Light touch of smoked malt as well. Smooth.
