1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle from LCBO # 438- Pours medium transparent cherry red, with a fizzy pink cap with minimal lace. Nose is slightly hoppy with a blast of butter right away. I go in again to look past the diacetyl but cannot get past it. There is a bit of fruit here too, but again, the buttered popcorn is too much. No cherry. The flavour profile isnít as offensive, but that isnít saying much. I get some sweet candy-ish fruit, but nothing that says cherry, cream soda like. The butter is here as well. I get a good dose of hopping on the finish, which would really balance a sweet cherry beer if it were well made. But sadly this one isnít. Flat, thin, bitter fruit finish with butter once more. I liked the Oak Aged Rye and the Left Coast Pale, and Iíd go as far as to say they were even very good when fresh. Ultimately, this is a huge step back for a brewery I was starting to have some hope in.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
My cousin-in-law loved this because it was so unlike every fruity beer he has had before--there was no actual fruitiness. That could be over-stated, as there was some cherry, but it was really timid. It didnít produce any of the acidity or sourness that you would expect, especially from cherry. Just a light fruitiness that wasnít bad, and at least was very drinkable. But it wasnít a great beer. Bomber bought in Toronto and consumed four days later.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Clear orange in colour, very thin quickly dissipating white head, no lacing. Aroma is wheaty, lots of grains, cereal, very mild sweetness. Flavour is pretty tame, mild sweetness, a bit floral. Sweet mouthfeel, light body, medium carbonation.
Finishes fairly quick, a bit syrupy.
Not a whole lot of cherries in this, if any actually. Another fantastically bad beer from Trafalgar.
650ml bottle purchased at the LCBO in Peterborough, Ontario.
Opened on May 26, 2010.
Best before October 2010.

0.7 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
Pale ruddy pour with a thin white lacing. The aroma is truly horrid. DMS and wheat with a lot of rank damp mustiness. Holy shit - this is absolute garbage. Tastes like wet dog and cardboard. Truly awful beer - you fooled me again Trafalgar - why the fuck do these guys continue to get LCBO listings?

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
I tried this beer on May 28, 2011 after purchasing from one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a translucent amber colour with a very thin white ring for a head. The aroma is stale grass, very weak floral hops, and an extremely weak whiff of cherry. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied, with medium carbonation. Flavour is mainly malt and hops, with a drying bitter finish.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A hazed golden ale with a super thick off white head. A nice gueuzy aroma, epsom salts, light cherry notes. In mouth, a smooth creany lactic cherry taste....if this is infected, the result was not too bad. Bottle from LCBO, tasted Nov. 2010.
