matt7215 (942), Cambridge, Ontario, Canada Jan 13, 2009 200 ml nip from a gift pack from the LCBO. ah the CRITICAL MESS. pours pale yellow with thin white flakes of something in the bottom of my snifter. aromas of alcohol, apples, and malty sweetness. flavours are similar and this really reminds me of a crappy mead cider mix. this body is thin which provides an ample opportunity for the alcohol to shred your palate to pieces. i could drink this again a nip at a time but i cant think of a situation that would ever present itself for that opportunity to happen. mabel (2530), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jan 12, 2009 [1764-20081004] Tap. Mild buttery potatoes aroma. Clear, brown amber body with quick bubbles. Sweet potato mash malt flavour with buttery and savory notes, and the booze definitely packs a kick. Medium-full body. Seems fresh but a definite presence of booze sets everything off-kilter.

For me it is a miss. I had to dump it.
Dark golden colour with no head at all... no carbonation either. The aroma has alcoholic hints with a strong malt sweetness. Flavour is very unappealing of sweet caramel and sugar and alcoholic hints. Palate is sweet malts and flat.... yeuugh... Nekronos (2243), Xalapa, Mexico Feb 16, 2008 Quite good, not so strong but seet, nice aroma and aftrtaste. I likes the colour and the way it doesn’t waste you. yarry (370), Waterdown, Ontario, Canada Nov 2, 2007 Bought from Brewers retail store.
200ml bottle, 14% a/v
Kind of scared but lets give it a shot..
Pours a strange colour, like a slightly darker version of gingerale. No head to speak of whatsoever. Smells of caramel, malt, brown sugar, and the tang of white wine. Taste is VERY boozy. Very sweet. Tastes like roasted malt, brown sugar, and once again with the white wine aftertaste.. Very unusual. Not very good. Too syrupy, too boozy.. just not that good.
