Bottle thanks to sammy for sharing: Mahogany in color with very little head. Aroma, has some fruits, a spiciness to it, and some alcohol. Flavor, a sweet maltiness to it, quite bitter in a weird way. The alcohol comes through pretty strong, seems like some honey notes in there as well. Screwy beer, would probably benefit from some age.

200mL bottle from brewery. Pours a deep mahogany with no head. Fruity, dried fuit, jammy nose. Sl. thinner mouth feel than "Korruptor". Better flavour. Less intense alcohol (but still too much). Almost flat (carbonation) and a bit sweet. Reminds me of cognac in flavour (a bit).

(200ml bottle) Courtesy of Lubiere. Very similar to the Korruptor but a lighter, more cherry and fig nose. Headless with a deep reddish body. Flavours of strong prunes, mild cough syrup and a lingering ABV burn. Very enjoyable like the other. I wish they’d just say this is a barleywine, bottle it and forget upsetting people at the festivals.

Draught at TFOB. Tastes kinda like spiked cough syrup. Extremely thick and potent in every way. Very heady aroma, cherries, alcohol, brandy. Much to sweet for my tastes... needs balance. I split a 4oz glass with a friend and we couldn’t even finish it.

Bottle. Pours brown with fizzy short lived fine head. Aroma mainly of brown sugar, light hint of spice (anise) and dry alcohol. Brow malts shallow body and dry alcoholic finish. Felt as if it was artificially strengthened. So much alcohol but so little body makes you wonder how it was done.

Draught at TFOB. This tasted like syruppy watered down whiskey, not very good. There was too much alcohol taste but i suppose this should be expected for a 15 pecent beer.

Draught @ TFOB: The great tastes of rubbing alcohol and Robitussin, together at last! A popular choice amongst the drunks yesterday, and that was fine with me. While the non-discriminating drinkers mingled around the 15% I had smaller lines at the good stuff. This is pure crap, as you would likely expect. I won’t even go through the flourishes and undertones of this Flaming Homer, if you’re trying it you’re not looking for great beer, you’re looking to fall over ripped. Have at it.

On Tap T-dot beer festival. Much better than the rating permits from tap. A nice smooth scotch and vanilla taste blended on top of a dark copper body with enough of a foamy head. Definitely a must try at this festival. They’ve perfected the batch in biohazard tins! re-rate: On tap at volo. The beer seems to have lost it’s edge as a stand alone beer. after a few other microbrew at the festival this was a standout, but now it’s sickeningly cloying ina medicinal sort of way. on re-rate, the beer averages 5-4-5-2-12.
