500 mL bottle. Beautiful brown amber pour. Some lacing and little head. Nutty and hoppy aroma that continues on the tongue. Bitter and creamy. Delicious. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500 ml bottle from the LCBO. Appearance: Pours a clear copper colour with a finger of white head that is gone very quickly. Minimal lacing. Aroma: Malt, caramel, bread. Flavours: Caramel, bread, malt, hint of hops. Mouthfeel: Thin with almost no carbonation. Overall: An okay ESB but there is an issue with the almost complete lack of carbonation. Iíve tried a number of Trafalgar beers recently and have noticed almost all of them had little to no carbonation.

Pours a rich copper colour, with very little head. Aroma notes are quite earthy, with notes of toffee, spice, and caramel. Tasting notes include graham crackers, toffee, spice, and a smooth bitter finish. This is a decent beer, and would try again.

Draft - Biscuity malts. Clear gold with a rich beige head. Biscuity notes and nice bitterness. A long mellow bitter finish. Pretty decent.

Originally rated January 2010. Bomber bottle from the LCBO, cellared for a year. Pours a golden-orange colour with lots of little bubbles for carbonation. Huge off-white head that is fluffy with maximum retention and full of lace. Good aromas of the fuggles hop with some notes of nutty and caramel malts. A nice balance again in the flavours, with the caramel malt and the hop. A mild bitterness is present all the way through and into the aftertaste. Notes of nuts, light fruits (oranges, apples) A shock for a brew from Trafalgar... beautiful looking, no infection, very well-balanced all-over. Probably the best beer brewed by this brewer and an excellent overall ESB.

Another earthy offering. I like what these guys are doing. Their nose is less in the business plan & more in the adventure. Worth it.

Crystal malt all around. Amber with a nice white thin head. Smells of caramel with dark berries, malt, and some soft hops. Tastes of caramel at first with a dry bitter that washes away to a lingering caramel sweetness. Nice and sweet overall with decent complexity.

On tap @ the brewpub in Oakville. Ruddy amber hue, tan head. Nice toasty caramel malts, a bit nutty, some tea, low bitterness. This beer had noticeably more body than many of Trafalgarís other brews that Iíve tried, and even though it is rather simple, I enjoyed it. Havenít had the bottle version.

Bottle. Pungent spicy and earthy hops with some toffee and wet cardboard. Clear bronze under a white ring and patch. Bitter toffee flavour with some earthy hops flavour, but lackluster.

500 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a near clear amber brown with small, soapy off-white head. Aroma is toasty caramel and biscuit with some earthy bitterness. Flavour is toasty grains, toffee and earthy bitterness. Lightly carbonated. One of Trafalgarís better offerings.
