500 ml bottle. Pours a clear light amber with a very minimal head. Aroma is honey, biscuit, pine, and grapefruit (great combination). Tastes are sweet malts forward with gentle citrus hops on the backend. Light bodied relative to what the aroma would lead you to believe. Medium bittern finish and little carbonation. Nice summer session beer but would be a little bit better with a little more body.

Bottle purchased at the Dundas LCBO. Pours clear light red brown, bubbly head that is gone as fast as it appears. no lacing. Nose is pretty much butterscotch, that reminds me of MacGregors butterscotch toffee (I think thatís what it was called). Tastes sweet, a little bitter and pretty much butterscotch. Iím not normally a fan of their brews but this is pretty good.

500ml bottle Aroma: cereals and caramel, a little floral and earthy Appearance: pours amber/orange, fairly clear with an off white head. Taste: medium bitter and a little sour. Palate: Medium to full body, feels a little creamy. average carbonation and bitter finish. Itís a nice try for a bitter beer. Thanks to the label that told me the meaning of ESB... I guess people around there donít know what beer is. Anyhow, not bad. I prefer other ESBs, but I could drink this again.

Bottle. Clear brown pour, small white head. Aroma of toasted cereals, light nuts, and some earthy, grassy hops. Light sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium bitter finish, with a solid toasted nut that lingers.

July 25 2012. 500ml bottle pours clear chestnut brown with amber hues. Beautiful colour but little bubbly head wrecks the appeal. Aroma is grassy hops and biscuit malt with a twist of pine or something a little spicy. Taste is grapefruit hops up front quickly turning to more earthy hops with the depth of roasted malts present. There is a bitter feel, not enough to call it a bite but rather a spice like pepper. Palate is a tad slick but good lingering mouthfeel. Not a fan of the brewery's offerings so this was a pleasant surprise and scored higher than where my gut feeling places it.

500ml bottle. Pours a red-brown in the glass with an invisible head. The lace isn't very respectable either. Fragrance of floral hops, grapefruit and sweet caramel. Wonderful bittersweet sock in the mouth on initial tasting. More hops than many IPA's I've had. Great blend of grapefruit and honey and a hint of nuts. Sharply bitter aftertaste, but not unpleasant. The palate is very wet and flat bringing the overall score down.

bottle. Poured clear copper with a thin creamy head. Malty aroma with a citrusy hop note. Medium mouthfeel, average carbonation, semi-dry palate. Flavour is a nice mix of caramel malt and fresh hops, spicy pepper hint.

Could not find this in the Database so had to add it. Itís possible it was the limited release Saint Paddyís. Dark brown orange pour with a quickly fading head. Yeasty hoppy nose. Mouth is a mix of hoppy bitterness and something pleasant. Malts? Nuts? Caramel? I really canít place it but I do like it. Thereís that bitter very hoppy bite that Iím not a fan of. Reminds me a bit of a dark IPA. Overall rather nice and easy to drink. Very low carbonation which is nice after the other beers Iíve had tonight. Not bad at all.
