2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
22oz bottle from LCBO. Pours a murky amber (unfiltered). Aroma is slightly hoppy with raisins and an odd malt aroma thatís hard to identify. Taste is a big old hit of hoppy dish soap...ack! Really, itís like a pale ale mixed with Sunlight. The finish, while hard to determine with the soap residue still lingering, seems to be slightly bitter and bracing. What the hell is wrong with Trafalgar and why the hell do they seem to get a beer on EVERY LCBO seasonal list? This is really inferior...Iíve had better extract homebrew.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
bottle. Poured a hazy orange colour with a big thick beige head. The aroma of oranges and oddly perfumey. Pungent flavour and mouthfeel. Awfully bitter. Woody, grapefruit citrus peel, sour flavour. I had two of these and couldnít finish either of them. The dates were good on both. Nope, I donít like it.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Mild aroma of candied malt, a hint of hops, slightly hazy copper, pours a small custard head, leaves some lace. Taste is soft malt, bit of caramel, trace of hops. Light bodied, bitter. Ordinary.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
2009-01-28. Crisp light amber body with a small white head. Light alcohol and modest fruit character, vague citrus in the aroma. Flavour is similar, mild bitterness, muddled citrus, mild malt. Average palate. Decent base but it lacks enough of anything to make much of an impression. Okay, kind of dull. Bottle from LCBO, Toronto

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
A distant runner as a pale, this beer is not worth the premium price for a bomber. Looks OK, almost grapefruit with tons of white foam that leaves lace. Smell is marginal acceptable. Taste has some hops and bitterness, but a tad musty. Expirey is May, but its just about had it. A tad thin and overcarbonated, the carbonation bothers my palate. Not too drinkable.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle: Light amber pour, very little head. Aroma is quite muted and hard to pull from, a bit of hopping is evident. Mild flavour as well with some spruce, juniper and a malty backbone. Itís all a little watery, but for a Trafalgar itís practically bringing me to tears. Who knew they could make something you can finish?!

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Copery gold pour with a really thick head. Sticky lacy head. Took forever to fade. Floral hoppy scent with some sweetness. Herby floral taste as expected for a PA. Reminds me of PintByPint, he would enjoy this one. Surprisingly clean finish for such a flowery hoppy bitterness at the start. One of the best Pale Ales I have had, but itís still not going to convert me away from Wheats, Doubles and Triples.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle: Poured a clear amber color ale with large light brown foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of sour with lemon is not the most pleasant with some acid hops. Taste is a weird mix between some unrefined cereal malt with some acid lightly citrus hops and an out-of-place lingering sourness. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not as bad as some of the other offering from this brewery bit still not that great.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: JAN 17, 2010 trafalgar.... but i wont prejudge..
pours a hazy amber with a small but lasting head, can smell cascade hops, fresh, a little caramel malt. piney, bitter rather than hoppy, taste is unbalanced, overpowered, highly carbonated but decent body. damn this is going to be a chore finishing...

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle ( 650ml ). Shared by blankboy with me and garthicus. Slightly hazy orange, small diminishing frothy beige head. Sweet, slightly pungent aroma (orange zest) - a bit papery. Taste - same; floral, pungent, dry, stale, sweet. Light, strongly carbonated, pungently but not entirely pleasantly bitter linger - ehhh - not sure what the hell this is trying to be.
