Having it alone made it seem so weak and watery. The wort is brought over from the Motor City Beerworks across the street. hennes (932), Fountain, Michigan, USA Mar 15, 2002 Round, smooth, a tad chewy in the mouth, but a sense of weakness behind. There is a deliberate rye close, mingled with hops, but it fades as the glass drains until, looking at the empty mug you just have a swwet and cidery impresion of the beer. It’s TJ’s attempt to appeal to a wider crowd, I’m guessing - their nearest thing to yellow fizziness.
