This dark ale is mildly hopped but flavored with two different coffee beans roasted for us by Ronnoco Coffee. Blending a hazelnut flavored coffee with Seatle dark roast, this malty, smooth beer has a full-bodied finish.

Tap - pretty small foamy head, very dark brown color, very sweet hazelnut malty aroma and flavor, a little too sweet for me, pretty flat mouthfeel

On tap at the brewpub. It poured a dark brown color with a small tan head. The aroma was of roasted malts and coffee. The taste was of coffee, malts and and a touch of hops. Decent.

Rated on 02-17-2013 at Trailhead Brewing Company. This draft beer presents a small tan head with a lengthy retention, opaque dark brown body and one ring of lacing. The aroma is roasted malt and coffee, hazelnut and sweet. The flavor is hazelnut coffee, malt and sweet. This beer also has a dry finish. The mouthfeel is smooth with a rather flat feeling. This beer is medium bodied. This beer is quaffable, but I find the hazelnut to be a bit over-the-top for my liking.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a very small sized head of foamy extremely dark tan colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a no visible carbonation opaque dark brown colored body and a poor lacing. The weak aroma was brown malt roasted malt and coffee. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a mellow coffee aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of hazelnut, roasted malt burnt malt coffee and brown malt. A decent one that I would consider buying again.
