3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft in a sampler at the brewpub. Pours an attractive, clear copper-amber color with a small eggshell white head. Notes of lightly toasted malts, grassy hops, leaves, and a little bit of caramel or brown sugar. Light-bodied, with modest carbonation. Not much going on in this one, but not bad.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at the brewery. Served an amber color with a decent head that fades to some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with just a hint of hops, not much else. Taste is a muted roasted malt flavor with a mold bitterness and a clean finish. Fairly light body, smooth with mild carbonation. Lacks character. Another non-offensive beer from Trailhead.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
aroma is well nutty malt character, pleasant and up front. savory, round and fruity, darkened nectarine, grilled pit fruit. impressive. appearance is translucent darkened copper with active carb and floating island head, nice bubbly ring. flavor is malt forward with same nutty malt character on the attack and tinges of perhaps pine or other general bitterness coming late as reinforcement. still hints of malt extract here but far from the really bar beers ive tried from this brewer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tasted from a sampler at the brewpub. This is a good one. Head is good and nice lacing. Color is a solid ice tea. Nice undertones with a touch of coffee in the aftertaste. Not a bad brew.
