Its raspberry tartness and malt sweetness are reminiscent of this style's Belgian predecessors.

Bottle poured a hazy gold with a small short lived white head. Aromas of wheat, raspberries and a hint of honey. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of raspberry, wheat and some chalkiness with a smooth finish.

Sample at the brewpub: This beer is a hazy dark yellow color with a medium thin white head that burns off steadily. Stringy lacing. Aroma of raspberry sherbet and wheat. Light body with a tart raspberry character, with hints of zesty hops. The finish is akin to a raspberry Flintstones vitamin, if they make that flavor. Not very good.

Draft in a sampler at the brewpub. Pours a hazy, almost murky, dull straw gold color with a small white head. The aroma is initially super sweet and buttery, and opens up to some raspberry candy eventually. The flavor has more raspberry, but everything is so sweet and muddled instead of clean and fruity. Some wheat, sugar, bread, and marshmallow, too. Cloying, especially in the nose.

Hazy yellow-orange with a sticky thin head. Little aroma. Very light raspberry character on a surprisingly full-bodied beer. Pleasant-enough balance between wheaty malt and creamy fruit.

5 oz draft sample at the brewery. This brew poured a medium sized head of fine to medium sized mostly lasting white colored bubbles that left behind a transparent urine yellow colored body. The aroma was that of mild raspberry and the mouthfeel was smooth with a slightly tingly feel to it. The flavor contained very little of the raspberry flavor with hints of malt. Kind of on the thin side.

This was a cloudy light orange colored body with a white head. The aroma was definite raspberries and bread. The taste was mild raspberries with some almonds. There was also some fresh flour. A decent fruit beer.

Poured a small sized creamy white head with fine-small sized bubbles that fully diminished. The body was carbonated and cloudy with yellow hue.The nose was that of mild malt and raspberry with a raspberry flavor. The mouthfeel was smooth and light bodied and thin textured.

5oz sampler at brewpub. Dark yellow and semi-cloudy with no head. Very faint raspberry smell. Sour vinegar taste, bad bitter finish, yuck! Reminds me of fruit juice gone bad, the mix is all wrong here.

Sampled at the 2013 Heritage Festival. It poured a golden color with almost no head. The aroma was of honey, wheat, raspberry and a touch of alcohol. The taste was smooth, sweet wheat, honey, fruit and soft carbonation. It had a medium mouthfeel and very smooth overall. Tasty.

Tasted from a sampler at the brewpub. Hazy yellow-orange with a thin head. Very heavy raspberry character on a surprisingly full-bodied beer. Not one of my favorites.
