1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle on holiday in Mallorca. Golden light orange coloured pour with a lasting big frothy white head. Aroma is light orange citrus, leafy hop, grains. Nice bit of hop on the nose. Flavour is composed of grainy, slight caramel sweet, orange, mandarin, assertive slightly rough bitterness. Palate is light and grainy with high spritzy carbonation. Perhaps closer to an American pale ale. Best beer of the holiday so far.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle at home, gift from Gar, thanks Gar! Crystal clear pale gold, loads of bubbles, huge bright white pillowy head, lasts ages. Grain and sweet malt nose, a little fruitiness from the hops, a touch of zest, grapefruit and a little paper. Flavour is fairly neutral up front, tends toward corn sweetness toward the finish. Light, loads of carbonation. More of that corn toward the finish. Interesting to try a beer from here but not brilliant. Probably works in the sunshine instead of a cold winters night in Ireland.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Piana bardzo obfita, dosyć szybko opada do trwałej niskiej pierzynki
Aromat lekko słód i chmiel, suszona brzoskwinia/morela, cygaro, stare meble, miód, białe owoce
Smak słodkie, lekko czuć suszone, lekko wędzone brzoskwinie, później lekko miód
Odczucie lekkie, goryczka poniżej średniej, w ustach pozostaje lekka żelazistość
Lacing jakiś tam jest

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma: flowers, some bread malts. Appearance: hazy yellow, orange, small to no head. Taste: light bitters. Palate: flowery hops, light bitters intensifying, soft carbonation, slightly dry in the finish. Overall: feels more like an APA rather than a Golden Ale, but it’s not bad - probably the best local beer I’ve had on Mallorca. Bottle from Eroski supermarket, Pollenca.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from a fancy deli type place in Pollenca; this was a bit of a gusher; pours cloudy old gold with a large foamy off white head; tastes of citrus - primarily a sort of baked orange, some lemony notes; a nice sweetness, and then grassy hops and herbal dryness in the finish; this was like a moreish and eminently sessionable English bitter; if I had my way we’d holiday in Belgium or Germany or Sheffield (I rarely get my own way), so this was an unexpected and well-balanced Mallorcan bonus.

330ml bottle as a gift from Mallorca, Spain:
Sweet with a few hops & a fruity base that reminded me of an English style golden ale. Bursts of citrus & grassy notes with some spice & yeast too. Basic but not the worst out there.
Cloudy amber with a huge amount of visible carbonation & a huge, foamy white head a few inches tall that leaves a little lacing on the glass too.
Lots of citrus, some background fruits too. English style hops & touches of lemon with some spice but the citrus seemed to dominate & not in a good way.
Sharp with some grain & spice, lots citrus tang & strong carbonation on top of a light bodied beer that was fairly crisp & hinted at some sweetness.
Not a great beer really, it started out like an American pale ale, albeit quite a weak one but come the taste it had somehow transformed into more of a golden ale taste that wasn’t much better than basic. It was nice to try a proper Spanish craft beer but it’s not one I would recommend.
