Commercial Description: A unique style of stout that uses coffee beans to make the beer drink like a "black coffee". The coffee beans were added after the boil and this helped to balance the beer. Will pair well with mussels, clams and chocolate desserts. This beer has caffeine.
Fairly light mouthfeel for a stout. Dark brown with small, quickly dissipating head. Smelled like freshly brewed dark roast. Excellent roasty bitterness on initial swallow. Sweetness emerges mid swallow and makes its way into the aftertaste. Very good stout.
