I liked this red lager. First beer I actually tasted that day. Not the first I drank. Definitely malty and hoppy. Smooth. A solid brew.

Bold ruby red with minimal tan head. A very good red lager but no flavor note rises to the top. Malt meets a toasty flavor and a balanced carbonation and slightly bitter finish.

on tap-pours an offwhite head with amber color. Aroma is malt, some hops. Taste is nicely balanced hops & medium malt, sweet caramel.

On tap at Trap Rock. Pours a dusty ruby brown with a medium white head. Malty and nutty, light hop aromas. Toast, malt. Very crisp but a bit thin. Sweet with a touch of toasty bitterness on the finish.

On tap at Trap Rock as Hathor’s Amber Ale. Poured a clear amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas and tastes of lighter earthiness, toasted caramel, and some citrus. Lighter nuttiness.

So its a Marzen? Should have known. Had that slight malt flavor with not a lot of hops. Pretty good overall but overshadowed by the other beers I had that night
