Commercial Description:
This style of stout was especially popular in Russia, where a British shipper supplied the Imperial Court. The beer has a chocolate, roasty coffee characteristics and the hops add a subtle spicy flavor. Will pair well with mussels, oysters and chocolate desserts.

Great stout. Nice black color. Roasty chocolate aroma. Smooth and complex. Very good. Drinkable. Enjoyable.

Nice black color, tan head. Roasty chocolate aroma. Nice roasty smooth malty flavor. Very drinkable for a stout, but dont expect the hugeness of a true RIS. Well made.
