DocLock (4083), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA May 7, 2004 Trap Rock actually named this beer after a patron with the intials JP. I met him, and he was filling up a cooler full of three growlers, and he was a hell of a nice guy. I was pleasantly surprised by this beer. Trap Rock describes it as a "lighter maibock", and it pours dark straw with a good head. Aroma of malt, red wine, and sweet grape juice. Tastes very malty, with a fruity, sweet, slightly hoppy, smooth finish. Very complex. I’ve never had a beer like this one, and I was very impressed with this one.
