COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A cross between a German and Czech pilsner. Brewed with pilsner and munich malt with hallertau, tettnang and saaz hops. This beer has a bready, toasty malt flavor with a grassy hop aroma. You may often find its namesake, a regular customer, enjoying a pint at our bar. 5.5% abv

Draft. Poured a clear amber color with a moderate frothy white head that lasted and had good lacing. Medium grass hop and toasted malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. This beer met my expectations.

Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 10/5/12, 5.2% ABV

Aroma: This beer has a light nose with grainy notes and some light grass
Appearance: It pours a clear gold color with a white head and medium lace
Flavor: The taste is mostly bread and grass, it is light sweet, and light-medium bitter
Palate: The body is pretty light, it feels crisp and clean, and has a smooth carbonation
Overall Impression: Overall, I thought that this was a solid Pils with a decent feel and good components. It wasn’t an absolute standout, but it was a solid example of the style, and a more then drinkable offering.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear golden color with a large creamy off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of fruity, floral and herbal hops. The taste is herbal hops and pale malts. Medium bodied.

Growler pour from the brewery. A nice yellow color with a decent white head. Refreshing and crisp. A little grass and grain aroma.

On tap at the brewpub, Berkeley Heights, NJ. Clean lines. Beer pours golden and clear, with a medium-to-poor head retention. Aroma has only limited hops overtones; mostly malt, and the flavor follows as rather malty and subdued, especially for something that is called a pilsner. Toasty, semi-sweet finish. This beer would rate much higher if they called it a bitter or ESB, in my opinion - it’s a decent brew, but not a pilsner!

On tap at Trap Rock. Pours a clear gold and yellow with a medium sized white head. Crisp cracker aromas and grain. Nice cracker and biscuit flavors come through. Crisp and clean, finishing up with a crisp light bitterness.

Gold pour with a creamy white head and lace. Light maltiness with earthy hop aroma. Semi sweet malt with a nice finishing bitter and a hint of perfume. Slightly thin but a better than average beer for me.

Draft at the brewpub. Golden amber in the glass with a decent but fading head. Nose is 40:60 Malts: mellow hops. This easily consumable brew tingled all about the tounge. The hops, while mellow and rounded to the palate, kept overshadowing the graininess and malt tones that I truly enjoy in pilseners. I did have to controll myself from ordering another since I had a long drive ahead of me . Finish was average in duration and brought out the hop pineness. Well presented.

Decent pils. Not that great, but a good amount of hops. Sparkly golden appearance. A little piney.
