Apr 12, 2008 On draft-Poured a dark red color with anice white head.Aromas were of light malt and caramel and a light sweetness.Taste was of light malt and light bread and caramel,overall an ok beer,but not the best maibock I have had.

May 30, 2005 Tap at the brewpub. Clear orange in color with a nice lasting white head. Malty and nice hop aroma. Big malty hoppy flavor. Nice malty clean flavor. Very nice beer. Well balanced. Very drinkable.

Tap at the brewpub. Clear yellow-oranage, lasting white head. Malty, with a slight licorice aroma. Flavor of big malt, nice hop bitterness and balance. Dry finish. This may be old. 6-5-6-4-12

May 7, 2004 Nice dark amber color, with a great malt, fruit, and hop nose. Very complex finish, with a fruity, slightly heavy mouthfeel presence, but tempered with a good malt/hop presence. A very nice maibock.
