Commercial Description:
The people from Einbeck, Germany brewed strong, pale lagers to celebrate May Day and the beginning of the spring brewing season. My version is big, malty and sweet with a dry finish. Pairs well with chicken, beef and desserts.

2005 edition. Clean malty aroma. Big delicious malty clean flavor. Nice malt sweetness. very drinkable and authentic.

Tap at the brewpub. Clear yellow-oranage, lasting white head. Malty, with a slight licorice aroma. Flavor of big malt, nice hop bitterness and balance. Dry finish. This may be old. 6-5-6-4-12

Nice dark amber color, with a great malt, fruit, and hop nose. Very complex finish, with a fruity, slightly heavy mouthfeel presence, but tempered with a good malt/hop presence. A very nice maibock.
