Commercial Description:
A German style wheat that has the strength of a Bock beer, usually called a Weizenbock in Germany. Spiced with coriander and orange peel. Made with fifty percent wheat and fifty percent barley.

Hazy, very pale golden hue covered by a lasting white cover leaving minimal lacing. Lightly alcoholic, honeyed aroma with soft lemony coriander and fresh cream notes. A bit phenolic and peppery in mouth. Its yeast certainly imparts some interesting and original character. Juicy palate, yet with medium-high carbonation, fitting the wheatiness. Very well extracted, apparently this contains 50% wheat and it takes a lot of room indeed. Subtle spiciness, gentle banana… all in the right direction. Well-bodied and warming ale. A rare breed of a pale weizenbock and I’m glad to see it so interesting.

on tap -pours a dissipating white head and hazy yellow color. Aroma is sweet fruit-apricot/peaches, some citrus, medium malt-caramel, faint clove, hint of banana, yeast. Taste is sweet fruit-apricot/peaches, some citrus, medium malt-caramel, secondary clove, yeast- hint of banana, perfumy/spicy (hallertau/saaz?) hops. Nice. OK/mild carbonation.
