3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A very good Dunkel. Pours a beautiful thick red-brown with a great white head. Smells like roasted nuts. Taste is nutty to start, with some cream soda, and a malty finish. Very smooth. Had on tap at Sugarbush.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
[5284-20130428] Tap. Light chocolate grains aroma. Clear, mahogany amber body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Watery malt grain flavour has a cardboardy booze note in the finish. Medium body. Not really a fan because of the odd alcohol-cardboard base. (6/3/5/3/11) 2.8

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap (flight sample) at Trapp Family Lodge: Pours a very dark brown with a little cream-colored head. Aroma is light, but tones of roasted malt and chocolate. Taste is more of the same, but it coated the mouth well and was very smooth. Like all of their beers, it was not as sweet as I would have guessed by the style (which is a huge plus). Nice medium+ body, Great beer.
