3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Single bottle from Julio’s. Pours out a very beautiful clear mohogany brown. A seriously good looking brew! Light tan head settles to a thin lace. Light roasty aromas and flavors. Quite smooth and drinkable. Clean malty finish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Caramelized malty aroma and flavor. Has an enjoyable malty sweetness, but still being easy drinking and not sweet. Lager funk is not really there. Nice dark malty beer. Really quite enjoyable and well done for a normal beer style. I like it.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. bottle purchased at Prost, North Hampton, NH. Deep ruby or brown type color, thin tan head. Aroma is rich with Munich malt showing, chocolate hints, burnt sugar, dried fall leaves. Earthy
The flavor has a bready character with the same earthy malts that are found in the aroma. Sweetness balance by some spicy hop bitterness. The body is decent for a lager yet leans on the lighter side. Overall for the style it is pretty correct.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a dark brown from a bottle. Not picking up on much aroma or flavor. I do have a cold but I was able to pick up on notes rather easily for other beers I’ve had tonight. Rather insipid.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dark tobacco brown color with off white head. Maple roast malty dunkel aroma. Wow, really good dunkel, so many dunkel a are just a malty flat mess. Certainly malty but clean without the yeast flavor of an ail that just not pair well with a malty beer like this. Biscuits, roast, hints of hob bitter, and a "clean" finish. Thanks dlovell2 for sharing.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pint at The Blue Stone. Very deep brown with a tight, light tan head. Restrained dark-roasted malt, clean fermentation, a bit grainy, dry, moderate bitterness, straight-forward and well made.
