Got to try this last night thanks to, "hannont". Colour... garnet brown with a thin off white head. Nose... brimming with caramel, British toffee and melted butter. Palate... a bit thin for the mouthfeel but with some gentle CO2, lightly sweet with flavours of butterscotch disks, toffee, creme brulee, light brown sugar and a lengthy sweet finish.

Bottle sample at a tasting. From a trade with anders. Thanks! Dark reddish-amber color. Aroma of malt, fruits and pralines notes. Sweet flavor with malt, fruitcake notes and toffee. Medium-full body. A nice refined strong ale.

At a tasting, thanks DSG, no head, deep brown colour with some burgundy red taints, flavour of chocolate cake, fudge and coconut, flavours of dark chocolate and a melange of dried fruits. Mellow and finely balanced. It sits on you.

From notes. Dark amber/ruby/brown. Small off white head. Nice lookin pour. Drinks like a strong scotch ale- burnt caramel/toffee, peat, earth, toasted malt, sweet. Full body, smooth, rich. Excellent.
