3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Papsoe (25131) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 20, 2010
Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours cloudy - almost opaque - deep golden with a dense off-white and lacing head. Very sweet banana nose with lots of vitamin notes and yeast. Medium body, flattish mouthfeel, lots of banana and yeast with a dryish and slightly sulphurous finish. 200310
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Maria (9572) - Thisted, DENMARK - SEP 21, 2009
It is hazy/slightly unclear yellow-golden with a creamy white head. The weak aroma has notes of banana and light clove and wheat. The flavor is sweet with notes of banana, wheat, yeast and clove. The overall impression is weak, and there is only little visible yeast in the bottle, which might be an explanation.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 mcdav2154 (436) - GERMANY - SEP 11, 2009
Looks like a great weizen. Thick white head that laces beautifully. Golden hazy body. Smell is a bit too lemon for my taste. Not enough clove or banana. Taste is the same. Also a bit watery and not enough of a creamy mouthfeel.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 MrRomero (1966) - Nolanville, Texas, USA - MAY 16, 2008
500 ml bottle: poured light orange/yellow with a medium sized white head. Mild vinegar aroma right after opening. That subsided and left a light grain/wheat scent with a little citrus and no banana. Flavor is much the same. Little fruit notes and more of a grain taste. Mild bitter finish. A touch metallic also. Not too good.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 MoritzF (7756) - Bochum, GERMANY - JUL 26, 2005
(bottle) Hazy and pale yellow colour with a thick foamy white head. Aroma of cloves with wheat malts and lemon fruits. Medium sweet and dry flavour, medium body. Malty start
with yeasty and citrus fruity undertones and a soft spicy finish. Not a great but quenching Weizen. Absolutely ok according to its affordable price.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Dorqui (1768) - Brescia, ITALY - MAR 29, 2005
Compact but evanescent foam. Yellow clearly color; torbid and extinguished. It deprives of beads and without particularitity. Sour and acidulous scent. Read wheat notes with a greater scent of lemon. Little prickly and acidulous; withered with an unpleasant finish.
2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 dortmunder (961) - Herdecke, GERMANY - JAN 4, 2005
Bottled. Cloudy, pale orange colour. Huge, very thick frothy head, which leaves quite big chunks of lace on the glass. Has a spicy cloves aroma, with the banana being only a background aroma. Tastes pretty mild, which could be seen as a euphemism for being a bit flat. Some spiciness, some cloves, a little milky, as bierkoning says. Gets a rather good rating for that beautiful head.
