3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask conditioned handpump Whitelocks Leeds 25/07/12. A golden coloured beer with a bright white head. A decent citrussy hoppy aroma. Clean and lightly hoppy in the mouth. Balancing pale malts. A bit of tropical fruit in the nose. Very competent.

Cask, half at Brewery Tap in Leeds. Cloudy amber body, good, white, lacing head. Resin-like hops to the nose. Taste of resinous hops and mild caramel. Mild bitter endnote. Floury palate. Accepted. (Leeds 30.06.2013).

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask conditioned at Rugby Beer Fest ’12. Gold with white head. Definitely checked and this was certainly gold in colour. Pleasant lemon fruity flavour right from the start, light, easy and crisp, certainly didn’t seem to have the Northdown hop character. Good beer but was it the correct one?

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
An excellent new Northern bitter. Great flavor, perfect finish.
Highly recommended for a quick one or a session.
