12oz twist-off bottle. medium orange color. thin white head. Floral, citrus hop note. Peasing hop florals. Malt character is lacking. mostly hop bitterness. woody hop flavor. creamy mouthfeel, its just lacking some malt notes. Not much balance. Very dry.

From a 12 ounce bottle - Pours an almost clear orange/red with very nice carbonation, and average lacing. Smells of sweet malts and some sticky hops. Possibly some oxidation beginning. First sip is surprisingly dull but balanced - just not enough flavor to go beyond mediocrity. A disappointment

A very crisp golden. Semi-creamy white head, moderate retention, with a nice stickiness over the glass sides. A pleasant floral hop aroma with a grapefruit citrus note and a nice, slightly caramel malty backbone. Not as significant as the aroma, but not too bad, nonetheless. A rather relaxed hoppiness. Slight citrus, a toasty malt, and a mild bittering finish. Medium body, though the flavour ends up making it come across as a little watery in some ways. Aside from that, it’s decent. Mild alcohol content makes for a good session candidate. Flavour is perhaps the only thing that would keep me from regularly enjoying it as such, but the aroma is a nice bonus for trying it out.

Hoppy toffee and earthy aroma. Pours amber with a nice head. Very easy drinking with slight bitter aftertaste.

Hazy copper color; small head. Strange aroma: malt, meat, beans, straws. Quite good malt flavor, with limited sourness, and a light citrusy hopping. A bit metallic. Correct brew.

2008-07-30, draught at The Railway Club, Vancouver, 6-3-6-3-12=30
Golden color; creamy head. Mild aroma, some caramel and hop. Round body, caramel flavor, correct bitterness. Correctly brewed, quite pleasant.

Had on tap at Hanna’s Lounge Kelowna, BC. AN enticing aroma of grassy hops and floral notes. The pour is a amber colour with a medium sized head. Smooth and very crisp flavour and taste of hops. Another great beer from Tree.

bottle: Wonderful hoppy aroma greets the nostrils of this amber ale. Goes down smooth and easy with hoppy bitterness balanced with fruity notes. Very drinkable.

Bottle. Golden-orange with a small white head that stick around to the bottle of the glass. Expertly balanced aroma of orange zest and biscuity malt. Medium bodied. Flavour follows the aroma pretty closely - good malt/hop balance with a nice, fresh character, and lingering citrus in the finish. Very enjoyable.
