Beer appears to be a dull copper in color with a massive off white creamy head, billions of micro floaters are suspended in the body, the entire glass gets covered in walls of lacing during each sip, very tasty looking brew. Citrucy hops, creamy malts make up most of this delicious aroma, the hops are perfectly balanced not over powering but not understated, there seems to be a touch of a vanilla sent that I could detect as well, maybe the aroma is a touch watered down but still very good. So very clean tasting, lots of hops but not insane, you can still taste all the rich creamy malts. This brew has tons of flavor, smooth and clean not overly bitter but not to sweet either just a perfectly balanced beer that leaves no after taste. HmmmmÖ I think I notice a mild soapy flavor on large gulps. Wow what a fantastic brew, this beer is going to get insanely high marks, but why? - Is it because I was desperate for a brew tonight? - Was the last beer I drank so horrible this one was fantastic in comparison? - Or was this beer just really this good? Either way this brew is fawking awesome the people at Tree Brewing are gods

UPDATED: SEP 26, 2009 Tree Brewery rules. Yet another great beer. This beer looks awsome. Crytal clear brownish copper, average sized creamy cap that has excellent retention and leaves great lacing. Beer makes a ploping slap sound when swishing too hard. Tempted to give this a 5 on apperance. Fresh aroma - a crap load of wicked malts and some aromatic hops. Donít forget a touch of honey and cantelope. So good and so easy to drink - looks like a second bottle is needed cause this ones going going gone. It seems wrong that I keep giving Tree monster reviews, but they really put out good beers. Soft and warm malts dominate, but there is a definete spicy hop flavour mixed in. Sweet flavors as well as a slight tangy citrus and somehow, peppermint gets stuck in my head. You can taste the hops quite well even though they are on the mild side. Mouthfeel is everywhere. Iíll elaborate another day..my baby is crying.****addition of notes July 24, í06*** Mouthfeel is very smooth, velvety even. Light to medium bodied, very mild bitterness and a slight dry finish. No gas! Yay!

One of the better canadian attempts at the style. Nice copper colour. Correct (low) amounts of carbonation. impressive floral hop aroma and taste. fairly good bitterness/maltiness balance. A little too sweet for my tastes but probably appropriate for a session. worth a try.

Pours a rusty orange with a small white head. Aromas of citrus, herbs, caramel, and some soapy notes. Tastes of grapefruit, lemon, thyme, rosemary, caramel, and some subtle hints of soap. Good beer, not the best pale ale Iíve had but very good.

Pours a clear light amber with a smallish tight cap that settles quickly to a glass lacing ring. Aroma profile is dominated by caramelized malts with some citrusy-floral chinook hopping Flavor is pretty base line for a commercial pale; caramel-toffee tones balanced with light herbal-lightly bitter hops with a fast clean lightly dry finish. Boiler plate micro ale for sessioning...nothing more.

ChainGangGuy (4407) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - OCT 31, 2008
Appearance: Pours a clear, light amber body with some sporadic bubbles, but no real head formation. Smell: Toffee malts, a few spoonfuls of light caramel syrup, a meager pinch of citrus zest, and easy-going floral notes. Taste: Sweetish maltiness tasting of toffee and light caramel. Light floral, citrusy hops impart a bit of balancing bitterness. Finishes dry. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: Pretty basic stuff we’re dealing with here, folks, but it still remains a light, well-balanced pale ale.
