Pours a medium gold, clear as glass, with a soft foamy head with a bit of lace. Wonderful bready aroma, some hops. Tasteless at first, but the hops kick in a quarter-second into the sip. Delicate cascade/citrus taste, late-hopped so itís not so much bitter as hoppy. Thin pale malt undertones, lasting hoppy aftertaste but not too strong. Wonderful creamy body and decent carb. Nice beer, well-balanced and friendly.

Pours with big head. A gorgeous syrup like yellow with a dash of red is the colour. Flavour is a tad harsh, with some very present bitterness that slightly overwhelms but is saved by a slight sweet finish. Plenty friendly on the mouth with a clean, cold feel.

Sampled at Argo0ís tasting. Clear golden with a white head. Nice dry-hopped Cascade aroma. Flavor is heavy on the side of floral hops without any malty support- has notes of grapefruit/pine, light base malt and light caramel. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. Needs work.

341mL bottle, courtesy of presario. Thanks, Trevor! Pours a clear, medium golden appearance; white head with good retention and lacing. Light, wet malt and citrus aroma. Medium mouthfeel: light citrus bitterness and maple syrup maltiness; creamy and mildly bitter. Very drinkable. Medium, citrus finish.

On tap at The Railway Club, Vancouver. Amber with thin off white head. Quite a malty pale ale. Surprising really. Really nice hop aroma, goodish malt and then great grapefruit hop on end. Most malty pale ale Iíve had. Nice.

341ml brown bottle. Poured deep gold bordering on orange. Full head, off white, sticky clingy lacing. Aroma is piney, with some caramel malt. Flavour is hoppy - piney, slight oranges note, caramel malt background adds a bit of sweetness, slight fruitiness. Some citrusy aftertaste - grapefruits, also a bit of malt. Very drinkable, more APA than EPA I think.

Bottled. Poured clear caramelly-amber with a short-medium cap of white head. Sweet, fresh caramel, toffee, pine needles, lemon, and grapefruit notes all come across in the very pleasant nose. Flavor was primarily hop-focused... with pine needles and tangy citrus bitter notes all the way through... soft caramel base... some floral bitterness, too. Long light fruit and piney bitter finish. Quite bitter overall and felt good on the palate... soft caramel base balanced it well. Good stuff!

Bottle (341ml). Shared with blankboy, GregClow and tupalev. Slightly amber gold pour smallish head. Quite a hoppy aroma - light spruce, a bit of resin, plenty of herbal character - with a sweet caramel malt core and a hint of apricot. The taste is pretty straightforward, bitter spruce/orange-grapefruit pith bitterness with some sweet malt carrying it -- average body, lightly astringent, a hint of acidity, okay carbonation, with a quick finish - pretty nice, but more of an APA than an English Strong, I think.
