3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A decent, drinkable alternative to the Hophead but the Hophead is certainly a superior beer. The regular pale ale by Tree is more balanced and will appeal to people who donít like hop assaults. However, itís hoppy enough to keep hopheads happy. Itís not an outstanding pale ale but it will do. Good session material.

Great Drinking Beer. Nice amber colour, not cloudy. A little hoppy with interesting fruity hints on the way down.

Bottle. Very slightly hazy amber pour under a small and quickly dissipating rocky off-white head. Fresh biscuits and grapefruit zest in the aroma. Classic English pale flavor profile but without the telltale fuggles hop presence. Dry and mildly fruity. A touch light in texture but with a very quick and dry finish.

Thanks to polsonov for this brew. Pours a crystal clear amber, with la very light head that fades. Smells is light honey, and hops. Taste is crisp and smooth. Nothing fancy here, but a solid drinker.

Light copper colour with a light tan head with some lacing. Smells nicely hoppy with some spice. The taste is very hoppy and spicy with some nice hope and complex but light malt aftertaste. Great beer for a hot day.

Enjoyed this beer. I like their Hophead better, but this one had a nice hooped aroma and flavor as well. Very drinkable.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
341ml bottle. Spicy and highly hopped aroma. Pours with a bronze hue and slightly off white head. Very hoppy, spicey and peppery flavour - typical of a classic IPA. The hoppy bitterness continues to the finish - a very good IPA type brew.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a medium gold, clear as glass, with a soft foamy head with a bit of lace. Wonderful bready aroma, some hops. Tasteless at first, but the hops kick in a quarter-second into the sip. Delicate cascade/citrus taste, late-hopped so itís not so much bitter as hoppy. Thin pale malt undertones, lasting hoppy aftertaste but not too strong. Wonderful creamy body and decent carb. Nice beer, well-balanced and friendly.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours with big head. A gorgeous syrup like yellow with a dash of red is the colour. Flavour is a tad harsh, with some very present bitterness that slightly overwhelms but is saved by a slight sweet finish. Plenty friendly on the mouth with a clean, cold feel.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Sampled at Argo0ís tasting. Clear golden with a white head. Nice dry-hopped Cascade aroma. Flavor is heavy on the side of floral hops without any malty support- has notes of grapefruit/pine, light base malt and light caramel. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. Needs work.
