3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Really liked this pale ale. It has a nice muskiness that reminds of wet barley. It permeates the nose and palate. A nice hoppy finish as well. Very satisfying beer.

500ml can brought back from BC by a cousin. Thanks! Pour is a clear honey copper with a nice thick white head and good lacing. Aroma is fair bit of sweet caramel and toffee malt, lots of bread and cereal grains. Light pine hops. Taste is lots of bread, sweet but light caramel malt, a touch of pine hops. Mouthfeel is creamy, finish is sweet. Pretty nice beer, but too sweet for me.

Cannette 500 ml. 5%. Vancouver. Couleur ambrée, mousse blanche. Arôme de caramel et malt. En bouche, malt, caramel, herbe...elle est douce et gouteuse. Finale très légèrement amère. Se boit très bien...très bonne.

341mL bottle poured a pale copper color with modest white head and virtually no lacing. Aroma is quite mild with perhaps some hops. Taste is light caramel sweetness with a lingering hop bitterness. One of the better pale ales in the Canadian beer market.

Clear amber colour with some carbonation. Slightly malted backbone that has a hint of citrus hops. On the palate it is medium bodied, some malted notes and finishes carbonated and slightly bitter hoppy. A sessionable beer

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500ml can. Clear copper pour with a short off white head that leaves little puddles of lace. Grainy on the nose with wisps of citrus fruit. A little sweet on the palate with hints of toffee and a little hop bite and citrus through the finish.

Did not see this around Vancouver on tap and certainly not on cask as recommended by Derek. However, in a can, this was easily to take along anywhere and have a decent beer. In its basic state, its a transition beer, giving more taste than a macro or even a basic weak light BC craft beer. It was overcarbonated, but still a decent drinker and sessionable.
