3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 LarryBeast (273) - - MAY 18, 2013
On tap @GarricksHeadPub. Coppery malt base under floral and citrus hops. Bigger aroma than actual taste. More peppery than I remember. Oily. Lightly bitter-sweet and dry on the finish.

Bottle (330 ml). Thanks to northropfrye! Copper with a small white head and little lacing. Aroma is weak but not unpleasant, with citrus, peppery notes and sweetness/sugary notes. Taste is moderately sweet with slight citrus and peppery notes. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Decent drinkability. Not bad, but easily forgotten.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 simonblaine (100) - Alberta, CANADA - MAR 28, 2013
Pours copper brown with a thin head. Aroma is heavy on the citrous, more specifically grapefruit. This is a very good IPA, hoppy, refreshing, delicious. Pairs nicely with my spicy cheesy guacamole and corn nachos......:)

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Canmoore (67) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 16, 2013
Pours a rich golden honey colour, with a thin wispy head. This beer has a HUGE citrus aroma, and the taste is just jam packed with notes of bitter grapefruit, orange-peel, little bit of cracker like malts, and a mild bitter finish. This is not a beer for true hop heads, but if you are new to IPA’s this beer will suit you. The bitterness is definitely not as massive as in some other IPA’s, however it does make for a very drinkable beer!

355 ml bottle drank at Brothers Beer Bistro (Ottawa) on February 26, 2013. Honey orange, little head. Aroma hops slightly sweet, very soft. Slight taste of green hops notes of Corniferous, a little citrus, a fair bitterness. This is fine, but if you’re a hop head, you’ll be disappointed!
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 RD400F (101) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 28, 2013
Bottle with date 17/07/13 to Unibroue tulip.
Aroma: Grapefruit, lime, lemon, biscuit, caramel, resin/sap, herbal scent as well.
Appearance: Transparent amber with a foamy white head that leaves a fair bit of lacing.
Taste: More malt flavour than I was expecting...but the hops come through well still. Quite biscuity/bready as well as citrusy/grassy.
Palate: Great balance between malts and hops. I enjoy hop bombs because they are pretty fun but this is a good drinking beer. CO2 good, mouthfeel is medium-heavy and the finish is sweet which is a little unusual for an IPA as most I’ve tried seem to finish a little dry.
Overall: I think this is the best of the locals for the style.

Golden brown pour. Fairly thick head leaves some lacing on the glass. Hop aroma, with a little bit of pine needles. Bitter hops but not overpowering. Finish is clean and refreshing.
3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Yukonbrew (11) - Yukon, CANADA - FEB 1, 2013
As the name suggests this IPA is hoppy from start to finish with plenty of hop flavour left behind. This might be best drunk last if you fancy tasting other beers. I do enjoy this beer for its’ honesty.
