3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
330 ml bottle. Clear medium copper, small off-white foamy head fades. Toffee malt, citrus hop aroma. Fresh citrus pine bitter hop taste, toffee/caramel malts, eventually some grapefruit. Softly carbed, medium bodied, medium hopped. This nice sessionable PNW IPA Lite surprised me and exceeded my expectations, and would make a great starter for Lagerboys looking to expand their horizons. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
330 ml. bottle purchased in Ladysmith B.C. Nice copper colour, head is frothy and sudsy- pretty big. Aroma is vanilla, grapefruit, pine, and yeast. Taste is grapefruit, pine, yeast, hops, vanilla, pineapple, very fruity, and orange. Palate is orange, pine, and hops. Points lost on too much carbonation. Great stuff; it’s easy drinking without being watered down. Proof that great IPA’s don’t necessarily need to be 6-10% alcohol.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from the hop pack. 5.4%. Clear golden amber pour with a weak, white head that bubbles away to a ring. Aroma is strong with hoppy overtones, Cascade grapefruit, citrusy, toasted malt. Taste is more of the same, dry hops and roast malts dominating the flavour, with a hint of sweetness. Finish is dry, but balanced and satisfying. Delicious.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
2013/06/02 - Pours an orange, copper color with a thin white head that lingers. Aroma is honey, citrus and biscuit. Taste is citrus up front with a sweet and bitter hoppy aftertaste. Mouthfeel is oily with medium carbonation and a drying finish. Not as hoppy as many IPAs, but still decent.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap @GarricksHeadPub. Coppery malt base under floral and citrus hops. Bigger aroma than actual taste. More peppery than I remember. Oily. Lightly bitter-sweet and dry on the finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle (330 ml). Thanks to northropfrye! Copper with a small white head and little lacing. Aroma is weak but not unpleasant, with citrus, peppery notes and sweetness/sugary notes. Taste is moderately sweet with slight citrus and peppery notes. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Decent drinkability. Not bad, but easily forgotten.

Pours copper brown with a thin head. Aroma is heavy on the citrous, more specifically grapefruit. This is a very good IPA, hoppy, refreshing, delicious. Pairs nicely with my spicy cheesy guacamole and corn nachos......:)

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a rich golden honey colour, with a thin wispy head. This beer has a HUGE citrus aroma, and the taste is just jam packed with notes of bitter grapefruit, orange-peel, little bit of cracker like malts, and a mild bitter finish. This is not a beer for true hop heads, but if you are new to IPA’s this beer will suit you. The bitterness is definitely not as massive as in some other IPA’s, however it does make for a very drinkable beer!

355 ml bottle drank at Brothers Beer Bistro (Ottawa) on February 26, 2013. Honey orange, little head. Aroma hops slightly sweet, very soft. Slight taste of green hops notes of Corniferous, a little citrus, a fair bitterness. This is fine, but if you’re a hop head, you’ll be disappointed!
