The fourth installment in the Tree House Curiosity Series. This riff is constructed with a straightforward malt bill of pale and caramel malts along with an addition of dextrose to further dry out the finish. We added fresh squeezed Ruby Red grapefruit juice and zest to the boil to complement massive additions of Simcoe and Amarillo hops. We then finished the beer with two rounds of dry hops including a 22% addition of Australian Galaxy. A true citrus bomb of a beer that we are completely in love with.

750 ml growler into my Hill Farmstead stemmed glass. Thanks to time4lunch for the brew. A: Pours a clear tangerine color with a white head forming on the pour. It recedes to a thin film and thicker, frothier cap. S: Very clean flavors. Grassy and citrusy with a nice clean, sweet malt bill. A little candied fruit/honey like sweetness. A little tangelo on the nose as well. T: An explosion of clean and juicy fruits. Mango and Pineapple with a big candied grapefruit. It has a light, bitter grassy note to it. Not quite piney, but verging very close. Nice doughy bread malts provide a sweetness the compliments the beer. M: Unfortunately the growler leaked in transit, but luckily it was still delivered. Devoid of carbonation pretty much, but damn is it still nice and refreshing. Sweet and fruity finish. O: If this had some carbonation it would be a whole lot better, but having said that I love a highly fruity, tropical DIPA and this one fits the bill. Hopefully Iíll get to try some offerings from Tree House again in the future. Serving type: growler 09-06-2013

Growler. Thanks jay. Orange golden pour. Much lighter mouthfeel than expected. Great big citrus heavy mouthfeel. Flavor was good but up to the par of the aroma. Citrus heavy flavor, just seemed to fall short. Slight astringent finish. Liked didnít love

My new favorite beer from tree house. Pours golden straw color with two finger white head. The aroma is out of this world good. Smells like a citrus fruit salad with notes of mango, grapefruit, and peaches. Taste is great as well with tons of juicy fruits and some resin in there. Great beer and one of my favorite DIPAs.
