COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our single hop exploration of low alcohol beers continues in Monson with the fresh crop of 2013 Citra! This one explodes with notes of citrus on the nose and the palate, and finishes cleanly with light bits of cracker malt. Someone forgot to tell it that its only 4.1% alcohol. Dangerous. . .!

Can. Pours cloudy golden amber, small white head, dissipates slowly, solid lacing. Aroma is definitely citra, dank and tropical, passionfruit, pine. Flavor is light sweet and light bitter, very juicy. Light body. Not sure why this is not a session IPA?

16 oz. can poured into a snifter. Bright hazy orange body. Nice white head. Great lacing. Smell is all citrus hops. A bit of doughy malts. Taste is just as straightforward. Citrus hops. Light cracker malt. No bitterness. Light body. Soft carbonation. Wonderfully drinkable blonde ale.

Hazy gold with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruit, toasted malts. Taste of oats, toast, citrus, dry finish. Solid.

Light and crisp like a good lager or kolsch and has a full body for such a low abv beer. Big, bready malts were the highlight, but this is complex for a blonde.

16 ounce can thanks to John. Big nose with tropical fruit. Hazy yellow color. Just a lovely citrus thing going on. Surprised by how low this ABV is. Full of flavor.

Poured a cloudy golden yellow color with aromas of light grass, Citra hops, papaya, more citrus and some grapefruit. Flavors are big citrus and fruit with some light malt. Tons of fresh cut citrus and light papaya light and refreshing a great beer to start the day. Love that its from a 16 ounce tall boy too.

Can at home, acquired through trade. Pour is slightly hazy golden with a big white head and sticky lacing. Big lemon drops, pineapple, some mango, papaya, grass, and biscuity aroma. Taste is juicy hoppy - pineapple, mangoes, and mandarins - lemony, biscuit malt, and grass with a lightly bitter finish. Medium body with medium-to-high carbonation. Great use of citra and an incredibly quaffable beer.

UPDATED: APR 27, 2015 Can: Thanks, Matt! Cloudy, bright golden color with orange tints. Soapy white webbing. Aroma is juicy as hell. Orange, tangerine, mango, dank citrus, wet grass, pine cone, small hint of crackers, mild passion fruit. Flavor is crisp & zest. A little lighter with notes of weedy grass, orange peel, faint mango, slight green onion, pale malt in the finish with lingering citrus zest. Juicy. Some pineapple in there, too. Really damn tasty.

Growler filled Friday by my younger brother and cracked on Thursday, first beer of Christmas! Pours cloudy, pulpy straw yellow with small ring of white bubbles. Aroma is unbelievably good: Citra, lightly oniony and dank, jumps out of the glass, with plenty of mango, passionfruit, orange juice, peach, light pine, and other lightly sweaty tropical notes. Taste is a perfect mixture of crisp and juicy with layers of orange and mango juice mingling with crackery and doughy malt, sweet roll, faint Chardonnay, pine. Full mouthfeel for the ABV. A knockout in the hoppy blonde/session IPA category Im reminded of the single hop Citra from a certain farmstead up north.
