A Blonde Ale brewed entirely with Nelson Sauvin hops, a New Zealand varietal that melds beautifully with a simple bill of pale malts. This is a true "session beer" and one that does not make any compromises. It has a delicate bouquet of passionfruit and a slight lemon flavor that will surely quench your thirst.

UPDATED: AUG 29, 2015 The originator not the imitator. This first version of Eureka features Nelson Sauvin hops and has a very unique cool, earthy, white wine fruitiness that’s difficult to describe but a joy to sniff and taste. The aroma also presents honeydew and apricot. The flavor is bigger and adds notes of cracked pepper. Second best of the five? versions to date, Galaxy being my favorite.

750mL growler filled 7/2/16 and shared by Nelson on 7/16/16, thanks!
Hazy, not soupy, copper-gold body is topped by a good-sized white head showing moderate to moderately strong retention.
Nelson, of course, in the nose (the hop, not my friend) but noticeably less than both the Single Hop version from Hill and the recent Bright variant. Still respectable, however, with white grape, dank/spicy/green, lime and stonefruit. Honey from the malt balances easily and gently. Amazing as always from Tree House, but it’s annoying having the very best because this is phenomenal, but doesn’t measure up to the very best.
Perfect carbonation and attenuation, with a malty-soft texture, as expected. It’s great that you can almost take for granted that HF, TH, Trillium, Alchemist are going to have perfect attenuation and textures. Anyways, there’s soft honey-biscuit, with good hop spice/juice/wine character, especially retronasal. Very dry, crackery malts as well, with lots of mineral water. Perfectly balanced and stupidly drinkable. Not as good as the mosaic variant for me, but it’s still a hell of an achievement.

From notes. Enjoyed this at a tasting at Andrew’s house for my first tasting with the Ann Arbor crew on July 8! 16 oz can. The pour is a darker golden color with a thick white head that slowly falls down, leaving some great lace. The aroma is incredibly floral. There is a nice dank pine resin and a light citrus to it, but it remains dank as fuck. The flavor is much of the same. Nice bitter hop, dank pine resin, and a light citrus rind. There is a little dry pine on the back end. The mouth feel is thinner and light with a nice carbonation and a lingeringly dank and bitter resin on the finish. This is really flavorful for a blonde ale.

50cl can via trade. It pours a clean light olden color with a large white head. Aroma is danky and weedy with citrus pine cones and light onions. Taste is lightly sweet and lightly bitter wih some dry citrus notes in the finish an more weed and danky onions. Light bodied with good carbonation. Overall, tasty

Bottle shared by Sam. Pours cloudy blonde with a thick white head and a floral aroma. There is a smooth pale malt flavor with a moderately bitter lemony Nelson finish. Very easy to drink with lots of flavor.

Taste from a 16oz can at an Athens OH bottle/can share. This is labeled as Nelson. Hazy pale golden orange color. Thin off-white head, leaving an awesome spread of lace. Fantastic white grape, mild peppery big hop aroma. This has to be one of the better nelson hop features I have tasted, white grape character comes through awesomely here. Medium - plus body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. Mild dry finish. Very mild bready malt character, a bit yeasty, but mostly just nice white grape nelson sauv here. Touch of orange citrus. Light to moderate sweet taste, moderate to bigger bitter, mild zest. Solid, tasty Nelson Sauv DIPA. Def. worth it.

Golden body with medium to large white head and soapy lacing. Pineapple, florals, grapefruit, pale crackery malts. Medium to light bodied with moderate to lively carbonation, dry throughout, assertive bitterness in the finish. Solid.

Flip top growler split with GT2. Pours a beautiful glowing gold with large foam. Gorgeous beer. Aroma of pineapple, ginger, fresh dough, bright yellow fruit. Taste is super doughy, medium bodied, mild fruit juice, white grape, pineapple, mango. Low bitterness in finish. I usually hate Nelson hops, smell and taste like Vasoline, but somehow Tree House has worked their magic.
