Our modern take on an American Pale Ale features six hop varieties balanced by a crisp malt bill of pale and caramel malts. The beer is complexly aromatic, supremely hoppy, dry, and thirst-quenching. Sharp of grapefruit dance with notes of pine on the tongue before a firm citric bitterness finishes things off. A Tree House classic!

Growler... Pours clear and yellow with a small, wispy, white head. Good retention. The aroma is bright, spicy, a touch earthy and a little crackery. Light to medium-bodied with adequate carbonation. The flavor is bittersweet with rindy hops and tea biscuits. Lengthy, bitter finish. Growler shared by biggsbowler!

Thanks again for the shares biggsbowler. Another solid yet disappointing pale from Tree House, fruity and relatively tasty but just not nearly as aggressive as offerings from Tired Hands/HF/RR.

Growler shared by biggsbowler. Clear light yellow pour with a white head. Mild fruity hop aromas. Tasty with grapefruit and citrusy hop notes. Nice balance with a sturdy caramel malt backbone. Good body and mouthfeel. A very nice APA.

[5678-20130817] Bottle. Grassy aroma. Slightly hazy, pale orange body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Bitter grassy hops flavour. Medium body. Good base IPA. (7/3/8/4/15) 3.7

Poured from a growler Into a Tree House Brewing stemmed glass. The color is orange with yellow highlights with a finger of white head that leaves just a slight touch of lacing on the glass. The smell has green grass aroma that gives some hints of earthy hops. There is a definite pine aroma in the nose that has some slight sweet candy aroma tied to it. The taste is piney and resiny and really has a hop bite. There are touches of grapefruit and some citrus notes. The earthy spruce-tree flavor comes back toward the end and nips at the sides of your cheeks with bitterness. The feel of this beer is medium bodied but does leave at times needing to really concentrate to wrap your head around this beer. There is a smooth drinkable feel that does offset an aftertaste that gives even more bitterness but does not wreck your palate.

Pours clear gold with a thick white head...nice lacing and retention. Aroma has great floral and grassy notes...like slightly herbal hop candy. Flavor follows suit but not so candy like...more grassy and herbal with light malt backing. Mouthfeel is light and the finish is dry and grassy / herbal.

Poured from growler into tulip: Pours hazy golden with a foamy white head and good lacing. Aroma is awesome, strong tropical fruits, grapefruit, grass, hay, and a little resin. Taste is a tropical bouquet, papaya and passion fruit, grapefruit, and hay. So smooth, medium body, a little sweet, but well balanced with all of the hops. Not bitter at all, but has lots of hop flavor. This might be my favorite beer from Tree House.

Cloudy orange pour, two finger white fluffy head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit and some floral. Taste is grapefruit, pine, citrus and floral. Very easy to drink smooth pale ale. One of the best. Must try if you can get to brewery.
